How we do things

Check in time is 12:00 and Check out time is 10:00 on day of departure.

Please note that the gate is locked every evening at ± 21:00 and reopened at ± 6:30.

Should you be out late or be leaving early please arrange accordingly with management.

Meals

Our tariffs include a set menu with three farm-style home cooked meals a day, as well as tea and coffee. Meals are served in our dining room at the following times: 

  • Breakfast 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. 
  • Lunch 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. 
  • Dinner 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

DRESS: Smart Casual (Preferably no shorts for dinner please!) (NB: Please advise as to what meal you will join us for on day of arrival) .

Tea is served in the Summerhouse at 11:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. and Hot Chocolate is served in dining room in the evenings until 9.15 p.m.
(Tea making facilities are only available in our luxury rooms).

We are NOT licensed, but you are most welcome to bring your own drinks. We do have a tuck shop with a small variety of cold drinks.

General

Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms, dining room or main lounge.

No pets allowed: Due to our furry & feathered family we are strictly a no pet zone. Although our dogs and cats are friendly – they are not permitted in the rooms.

Please note we have no cellphone signal, all calls to or from your cell phone will be international rates. There are phones available in our rooms.

With lots of activities to choose from on the farm you could either play a game of bowls, laze by the pool, take a scenic hike, play tennis, mini golf, or volleyball, or simply have a game of pool in our “shed” also known as the games room. Our farm yard is also a great place for the kids to explore and learn!

Facilities

Pool towels are not provided – please bring your own.
Church service is held in our church every Sunday at 10h00.
Our guest lounge has both a fireplace and TV (M-Net, SABC and selected DSTV Bouquet)
Extra costs that are not included in our tariffs include:

  1. Telephone calls & Faxes
  2. Laundry service
  3. Games equipment hire
  4. Special tea’s and coffees
  5. Babysitting for evening meals on request with prior notice
  6. Horse riding

Minimum of two nights stay over weekends. Please enquire about our wheelchair friendly rooms. Please note that Deposits are not refundable. Payments can be made by Master/Visa Cards, EFT’s & Cheques . Regrettably no American Express. View our rates.
